Yellow Rose Musical

A new musical by Sarah Lawrence, with lyrics and music by Terry Langfitt and Paul Gandolfi

In development for a commercial production by Hunter Regian of Regian Entertainment


In 1836, Emily--the legendary Yellow Rose--escapes to Texas to find freedom only to find herself swept up in war and a passionate love triangle between two men who want her at any cost, including the charismatic President Santa Anna. The choice her heart makes changes her destiny and the fate of a nation.

This screenplay is the first contemporary retelling of the Jane Eyre saga. A sheltered Iowa farmgirl escapes her troubled past and becomes a nanny to the daughter of a brooding rock star. As sparks fly and the child blossoms, Jane discovers his past holds a secret that could destroy them all.

After an apocalyptic economic meltdown, domestic terrorists occupy a prestigious Park Avenue high-rise. The terrorists tighten the screws on four ultra-privileged couples woefully lacking in survival skills. One by one, hostages are killed or die off, except for one unlikely survivor. The play is a slapstick farce. Until it isn't. 

Bibo and Bertie

In 1954, Albert (Bertie) Einstein, the most famous man in the world, receives an unusual 75th birthday gift--Bibo, an African grey parrot. Bibo teaches Bertie the one life lesson he has not yet mastered: how to love.

The greatest flamenco duo of modern time (fictional) present an electric evening of dance, interactive performance, and on-stage relationship therapy. Audiences experience firsthand the Duende, the rare feeling of heightened beauty and pain at the same time--the foundation of authentic flamenco and, too often, love itself.

A DUI conviction forces an emotionally bankrupt socialite to volunteer at an urban homeless shelter. The ragtag residents help her find her true home and save the shelter from extinction.
